EXT. ENGINEERING SCHOOL – DAY

BARIMAH and JOSH walks through the entrance of the door into the school.

Look at all these guys. Killing themselves and burning midnight candles only to have a paper they could submit for a job they’ll be denied and given to less qualified and stupid people. I…I…I really don’t know why they totally can’t know any better and find someplace else to live their lives than settle for the education system, scamming them for all their time and intellectual resources. I mean, no body gets their money’s worth out here no matter how hard they study, or which ever grade they get after graduating.

Josh

But that is the only way to survive the system in this country. No body respects you without the certificate you know.

barimah

Yeah. Whatever.

Josh

Just because you are a genius and can make a life for yourself without it doesn’t mean everyone should leave to do what you do.

BARIMAH rolls his eyes.

Josh (cont’d)

There always have to be people shitting for others to clean it up. Else, societies do not function well.

barimah

Huh, that’s a relieving way to look at it.

Josh

Hey, I had this dream yesterday. It felt like I died.

BARIMAH pauses. He turns to JOSH.

barimah

I don’t want to be rude. Dreams are the worlds of fools and lazy people. You… you’re none of those, are you? ARE YOU!

JOSH shakes his head nervously.

josh

He pats JOSH on the cheek lightly.
