They both laugh out loud.

A comedian tells really lame jokes at the open mike. The drunk people at the bar laugh at the joke.

I sense someone's expectations for a date is going to be him and his pomade soon enough. But don't say it too loud. He doesn't know yet. Wank, wank, wank.

The drunk audience laughs.

JOSH is seated at a table, smiling, and feeling confident about himself.

He checks his time, 30 minutes past, JOANA still havent arrived.

1 hour, still nothing.

He kept checking his phone for messages from JOANA but nothing. Texts her but no response.

He starts getting sad.

3 hours past and still nothing. It was time for the bar to close.

Sir, your date stood you up. We can't allow you to stay here any longer. We are closing.
